What is Power Texting?
Power texting is where you can send anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 text messages at once in about a 2 hour timeframe. Reports have confirmed that representatives of the cell phone carrier AT&T formerly known as Cingular helped individuals and fans of Chris Allen how to send 10 or more text messages at the press of a single button. This is known as power texting and it's said that AT&T is the only cell phone provider where you can text your votes to the show.

Was American Idol voting rigged? No not really. Did AT&T allow power texts for Kris Allen voting, not Adam Lambert? Yes says reports that are now written articles online. The problem facing the scandal of this mess so far is the admission by AT&T, the rules of American Idol, the silence of FOX and the lack of clarity about the Kris Allen party. Whether or not FOX will even comment on this new event will probably take some time, but in the end Kris is probably still the winner.
Obviously there were probably thousands if not more people all together at once in Arkansas, the home town of Kris Allen, where many people could of done this technique at once adding up to huge numbers of votes. Will FOX come out and say anything, that's yet to be seen.
